A TRIBUTE TO KINANI drew him a few days before his death, after a long battle with cancer, at the request of his friends. I read his articles and viewed his Facebook photos, trying to imagine his world. I loved his sweet, sarcastic spirit despite the illness, so I wrote him a message telling him how beautiful he was. It was my first message to him... and the last, just two days before he passed away.

رسمته قبل أيام قليلة من وفاته، بعد صراع طويل مع السرطان، بناءً على طلب من أصدقائه، قرأت مقالاته واطلعت على صوره في حسابه في فيسبوك محاولةً تخيل عالمه. أحببت روحه الحلوة الساخرة رغم المرض فأرسلت له رسالة أخبره فيها كم هو جميل، كانت تلك رسالتي الأولى له ... والأخيرة قبل يومين من وفاته.
